Supply Chain Management

Partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and KEMSA, to implement an integrated logistics management information system (LMIS) that guarantees the availability of family planning commodities across all levels of care at national and county levels. Successful roll-outs have occurred in 8 counties: Baringo, Kwale, Nairobi, Wajir, Garissa, Mombasa, Kilifi, and Samburu.

Engagement at the National Order Management Team (NOMT), making strategic decisions about distributing family planning products at KEMSA. We also contribute technically to the integration of new family planning tools into KHIS.
 
 ICRHK, a member of the UNFPA global partnership supplies chain committee and the National FP Logistics Working Group representing CSOs, also collaborates to conduct nationwide spot-checks ensuring the appropriate management of FP commodities across various counties in Kenya.

Engagement in training of health care providers; building their skill and capacity, contributing towards the national Hormonal Intra-Uterine Device (H-IUD) roll-out and scale-up plan by the MoH, in collaboration with UNFPA and the Reproductive Health Network Kenya (RHNK) in both public and private sector. Successful rollouts have occurred in 5 Counties: Nakuru, Meru, Nyeri, Nairobi and Kakamega
 

ICRHK is also a member of the forecasting and quantification TWG.
