Dr.Patricia Owira


Dr. Patricia Owira is a program management specialist with over five years experience in designing, conducting and evaluation of Sexual and Reproductive Health interventions that have a public health impact. She has worked for leading programs funded by USAID/PEPFAR, BMGF, UNFPA and Kindernothilfe and has advanced skills in implementation research aimed at providing evidence on best practices for scaling-up public health interventions. She has a strong experience in leading and optimizing staff teams and has sound knowledge of issues affecting vulnerable communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Surgery. She was recently awarded a Chevening Award to pursue an MSc in Public Health for Development at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She is also a Mandela Washington Leadership Fellow.
