Okoa Mama na Mtoto Initiative (OMMI)

Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and implemented by International Centre for Reproductive Health–Kenya (ICRHK), the Okoa Mama na Mtoto Initiative (OMMI) is a three-year project implemented across Kenya.
The project aims to reduce maternal and newborn deaths by strengthening policies, funding, and service delivery for maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH). It brings together government, civil society, youth groups, and the media to advocate for increased investment, accountability, and coordination in MNCH. We work in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Council of Governors, aligning our mandate with core Government priorities.
